The monoxila is made of a tree trunk (elm). The piece is provided with three benches, inlaid in the carved trunk, preserved in fragments. Two of them: in the stern area, at a distance of 0.34 m from each other and have a width of 18 cm at the base, and 5 cm at the top. Inside it, traces left by the tools used can be seen. Functionality: in addition to their basic purpose, the benches also had the function of reinforcing the sides, a detail found in other discovered monoxilas. Boats of this type and size were used for fishing or for people to cross watercourses.
The monixila has unique status and is among the oldest in Southeastern Europe.
