Contemporary sculpture "Couple"

At first glance, the form seems compact, almost architectural. Two volumes united in a single body, supported on solid arches, like legs that are in no hurry. There are no faces, no looks. Couple is not about individual identity, but about being together.

The arched voids in the structure are essential: they do not weaken the form, but make it breathable. They are spaces of passage, of silence, of acceptance. In a lasting relationship, not everything is full — there is room for silence, for absence, for pause. The sculpture speaks this truth without words.

Overall, Couple is a sculpture about love without pathos. About remaining. About supporting and being supported. It does not promise happiness, but duration. It does not seduce, but holds. It is a work that does not demand immediate emotion, but recognition. You see it and you understand: this is what love that has passed through time and remained standing looks like.

The sculpture proposes a mature meditation on lasting relationships, expressed not through romantic gestures, but through mass, stability, and continuity.
