The stone block is left almost raw, vertical, with a pronounced natural crack. The artist wants to show that the Cosmos does not begin as order, but as primary matter, as an undifferentiated mass from which meaning is yet to emerge.

The thin, sharp metallic element looks like an antenna, a lightning bolt or an energetic sign. It does not belong to the stone, but symbolically crosses it. It is the human mind, consciousness, the desire to understand what is infinite and mute.

The circular metal shape set in stone can be read as: an eye (the cosmos that looks at us), a planet or a nucleus. Cosmos is a modern axis mundi: stone (earth) + metal (energy, spirit, technology). There is no complete harmony, but tension – exactly the state of contemporary man situated between nature and knowledge.
