The Trinity is not classically carved, but assembled from beams, like archaic architecture. The wood does not hide the joints, the nails, the layers. Faith appears here as a handmade work, not as an ornament.
The vertical elements and horizontal steps suggest a staircase: ascent, effort, journey. It is not a cross of the end, but one of the process - faith as a journey, not as an arrival. The large cross dominates, but next to it appears a smaller, open structure, almost like a gate or a house. It is the dialogue between the divine axis (up–down) and the human space (together, here).
Wood is subject to time: it has darkened over time, cracked, aged. Unlike stone, it lives and dies. The Trinity thus becomes a sign of living faith, subject to time and history.
The Trinity of Ungheni is not a monument of religious representation, but one of testimony, of memory. It says that sacredness does not lie in pomp, but in construction, patience and community. It is a cross that does not impose, but accompanies through the times.
