Moldova at the crossroads

The work depicts a very strong symbolic composition: a stable vertical column – the central axis. A tilted horizontal bar, like a road or an unstable direction. A cubic block on top, with striations resembling lines of text, scars or traces of time. Crossroads / choice – the shape is reminiscent of a cross or a signpost, but without clearly indicating the right direction. Controlled imbalance – nothing is perfectly straight; everything seems in tension, but still stands. The raw stone suggests the past, collective memory, historical burdens. The striations on the cube can be read as erased texts, incomplete truths or imposed decisions.

Moldova at the crossroads it seems to speak of a complicated moment, of an identity in search, a decision that can no longer be postponed, or a fragile balance between past and future.
