Ungheni Municipality Music School

  The Ungheni Music School has been operating since 1963, with a rich tradition of over six decades in musical education. In its 62 years of activity, the institution has formed 57 classes, with over 1,800 graduates. Over time, an impressive number of talented students have become valuable performers and prestigious professionals in the field of music. Among the former students of our school, prominent personalities of musical life have emerged, who continue the fame of the Ungheni Music School on stages in the country and abroad: Dumitru Miller (Israel), Victor Sasu (Italy), Sidor Rusu (Romania), Oleg Timuța (USA), Veaceslav Bodolica (Moscow); Valeria Vetrici (Switzerland); Oleg Vitliuc, Alexandru Andriuță, Igor Vitliuc, Mihai Sorocan, , Igor Podgoreanu, Vitali Lăpteanu, Maria Coptu, Petru Moiseev, Valeria Marcu, Dana Marchitan and others

  The Ungheni School of Music is distinguished by a dedicated teaching staff, made up of teachers with authentic teaching grace. The professional prestige and devotion to the musical art of the teaching staff have inspired, over time, numerous graduates to follow the same vocation. Today, out of 29 teachers working within the institution, 19 are graduates of our school who contribute to the continuity of the educational and artistic values of the school.

School mission consists of ensuring quality musical education, oriented towards the formation of artistic, technical and cultural skills of students, in accordance with national educational standards. The school aims to develop talent, creativity and artistic discipline, promoting cultural values, national identity and the harmonious integration of graduates into the cultural and artistic life of society.

Vision

School vision is to become a reference educational institution in the field of artistic training, recognized for excellence, professionalism and the promotion of national and universal cultural values. The school aspires to train creative, responsible and competitive artistic personalities, capable of actively contributing to the development of cultural life and the affirmation of musical art in society.

Infrastructure

The school has 31 classrooms for group and individual disciplines, 1 library and 2 rooms for rehearsals of artistic groups and extracurricular activities. The capacity of the institution is 950 sq m.

 Activities and services

 

Complementary extracurricular artistic education is voluntary and is organized in the Music School, in the form of theoretical and practical lessons conducted in groups or individually, outside of the school program and activity.

  The educational process is organized according to the plans and programs of artistic training, approved by the Ministry of Education and Research. The structure of the school year: the beginning and end, the duration of semesters and holidays are established according to the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Research. 

 The educational process is organized according to the Framework Plan for arts schools (music, theater, dance and fine arts), approved by MEC order.

  The educational process is organized into levels and stages of studies that ensure the coherence and continuity of training and education, in accordance with individual and age particularities.

 The educational process is organized and carried out based on the Annual Activity Plan, discussed at the Faculty Council and approved by the founder. 

  School operating schedule 5 days 12.00-19.15. The educational process can be carried out in 5-6 days. The duration of the lesson in the Music School is 45 minutes. 

    The evaluation of students' artistic skills is done systematically during lessons, academic concerts, technical colloquiums, exams. At the end of the academic year, promotion and graduation exams are organized according to the Framework Plan. 

 The results of the artistic skills assessment are assessed with grades from "1" to "10", with grade "5" being a passing grade.

  The studies end with the passing of graduation exams, organized in the manner established by the MEC and will receive Certificates of Artistic Competence, issued by the Inform Technologies Center

 Extracurricular activities aim to develop artistic skills and creativity, communication and collaboration between teachers and students.
