"Raisa Cojocaru" School of Fine Arts, Ungheni municipality
The "Raisa Cojocaru" School of Fine Arts in Ungheni is an artistic education institution with a tradition of over 57 years, founded in 1968. Over time, the school has established itself as an important local cultural center, playing an essential role in the artistic education of children and young people.
Among the school's graduates, nationally and internationally recognized visual artists, members of the Union of Visual Artists, university professors and active creators have formed and established themselves. Among the most famous are: Ion Zderciuc, Dumitru Verdianu, Valeriu Curtu, Victor Cobzac, Gheorghe Diaconu, Zinaida Fabian, Alexandru Plăcintă, Olesea Feodorova.
Through its continuous activity, the "Raisa Cojocaru" School of Fine Arts remains a space where talent is discovered, supported and transformed into artistic performance, actively contributing to the cultural life of the community and the promotion of authentic art.
The school's mission is to discover, support and develop the artistic talents of children and young people, offering them a quality education in the field of fine arts. The institution promotes an open, fair and friendly educational environment, centered on creativity and artistic expression.
The school's vision is to train creative young people, with a well-defined artistic personality and solid aesthetic and ethical values. We believe that art has the power to educate, to bring people together and to contribute essentially to the harmonious development of the young generation.

The building was built in 1987. The total area we own is about 1000 m2. Currently, we occupy 7 study auditoriums for specialties, we have a methodical office, a chancellery, the director's office, auditoriums for preserving the still life collection and the archive of students' works.
We also have a spacious foyer on the first floor and corridors on all floors that are used as spaces for periodic exhibitions by students in the school.
We own a GArt gallery for children "X-Format" on the second floor, very valuable with a space of approximately 200 square meters, where around 350 exhibits are exhibited. and we also have a specialized school library which is periodically supplemented with books, educational boards and art reproductions.
The school carries out specialized educational activities in the field of fine arts, addressed to children and young people. The activity includes teaching specialized subjects, organizing creative workshops, open lessons and master classes. Students and teachers are actively involved in cultural projects, grants and extracurricular activities aimed at stimulating creativity and artistic spirit.
The institution organizes personal and group exhibitions, artistic presentations and participation in municipal, district, national and international competitions. The works created by the students are promoted through exhibitions within the "X-Format" Gallery and in various cultural spaces, contributing to the affirmation of young talents.
