The conference presented:

Main objectives and activities of the project, including the rehabilitation and modernization of museums, the digitization of heritage and the organization of cross-border cultural events;

Expected impact on the community, tourism development and integration of cultural heritage into European tourist routes;

The role of cross-border cooperation as a "cultural bridge" between Ungheni and Iași, highlighted by representatives of local and national authorities.

The panel "How can we transform local heritage and culture into a sustainable resource for tourism?" brought together Denis Gînga, General Director of CNCPPCI; Ana Șandra, Interim Director of the National Tourism Office; Denis Bulancea, museographer at the Ungheni Museum of History and Ethnography; and Aurica Ichim, Manager of the "Regina Maria" Municipal Museum of Iași.

The launch conference confirmed the relevance and strategic value of the ROMD00219 project, strengthening the commitment of the partners for the successful implementation of the planned activities and for the promotion of the common cultural heritage of the Middle Prut Valley at European level.
