"Queen Maria" Multifunctional Cultural Center

CCM "Regina Maria" is a public cultural institution, located in the Berești-Vasilica neighborhood of Ungheni municipality, established by the Municipal Council Decision no. 7/18 of 07.12.2018. 2018 The reconstruction of the Multifunctional Cultural Center in Ungheni began in 2017 through a project financed by the Polish Solidarity Fund. Subsequently, the City Hall of Sector 5 of Bucharest allocated, based on an agreement with the Ungheni City Hall, one million Romanian lei or over four million lei.

 

The number of employees is 12, of which 2 people constitute the management team, 7 specialists and 3 auxiliary workers.

Scope

The center aims to meet the cultural and spiritual needs of citizens in the community.

The Center carries out activities to achieve the following objectives:

  • increasing citizens' access to and participation in socio-cultural life; 
  • preserving, researching, protecting, transmitting, promoting and enhancing traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage; 
  • developing partnership and cultural exchanges; 
  • stimulating creativity and talent; 
  • inviting and promoting traditional crafts and occupations; 
  • permanent education and continuing professional training of community interest outside formal education systems.

In this context, values provide the framework in which social norms are established and explained. They underlie the formation of attitudes, the decision-making process and strongly influence behavior. It is important to identify the values of the beneficiaries in order to find a common denominator of representative values of the community that will produce positive changes in the level of environmental efficiency and cultural act at the municipal and district level.

Mission

The Multifunctional Cultural Center, through its non-formal cultural offer, will attract a large number of beneficiaries of all ages, regardless of ethnicity, religion or social affiliation. Beneficiaries will be offered multiple possibilities for cultural and socio-recreational activities, depending on the native abilities and options of the beneficiaries.

Vision

The Multifunctional Cultural Center in Ungheni is the place where beneficiaries can give free rein to their imagination., their passion and talent in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
